Many MyGM and MyLeague lovers are concerned because we have not seen a site for this part of the game, and usually that's been published by 2K21 MT now. It's unclear if that means those beloved modes have gone awry. Hopefully, that isn't true since they are a couple of updates that could be delivered on the current-gen that would not undermine the appeal of the next-gen. For instance, allowing offline roster creators to add tattoos to created players. Allowing MyLeagues with a more flexible variety of groups (8-64). Allow for rule changes which enable a four-point line (something I understand that has been discussed previously ), shifting the three-point lineup to school space, in addition to improving trade/free-agency logic for CPU-controlled teams.
MyCareer would be made more appealing by simply taking away the narrative from this year's game, and allowing people to use the mode as a method to grind their characters. Last, PARK and Pro-Am could be improved by nerfing the defense's play in passing lanes (this would impact multiple manners ), removing the Quick Draw badge, taking off the limitations the peaks of guards (you're not able to create big guards in the match ), and bringing a little more rhyme and reason with shooting precision. Last, opening up the dribbling to allow for more creativity, and a cat-and-mouse mini-game involving the ball-handler and the protector.Speaking of refinement, the updated variant of 2K21 receives some serious improvement to the consumer experience as well. Firstly, the entire UI has been totally overhauled - it is unique to the next-gen edition. The rate of the storage enables a more dynamic team selection screen as well because it is possible to quickly load in new personality models. It's a big upgrade, enhanced still further by immense improvements in loading, which essentially gets rid of all loading screens.
While there is even more concerning NBA 2K21 to find, I think this is a good primer about what you may expect from the new version of the sport, but I guess the remaining question here comes down to the way this title is delivered on all the next-gen systems. Well, the good thing is they're almost identical visually. PS5 and String X offer a full native 4K demonstration - it looks super sharp on both systems and all visuals look exactly the same between them. The PS4 Pro version which I used for last-gen testing, incidentally, also appears to operate at indigenous 4K but obviously with reduced visual fidelity. The one difference here, predictably, lies with the Series S version. This one runs at a native 1080p instead. You get all the same next-gen visuals as it's bigger brother, only at a lower resolution.
I would say that NBA 2K21 is a excellent release for consoles and a lot more impressive than I anticipated. While the constraints in the cartoon are still evident in points, it's the most fluid and realistic-looking basketball game I've ever seen. Visual Concepts has set a high bar here in regards to visual quality and this is only the beginning, really. Additionally, it is wonderful to see that this variant is completely different from the last-gen iteration, suggesting they are building from a fresh starting point. I expect we'll continue to see things improve over time and I will be fascinated to see how other companies like EA Sports manage the transition. FIFA 21 has only obtained its next-gen update (featuring Frostbite's much-vaunted hair physics, no less) and we'll be taking a look at that shortly. The significant problems that were holding The City ago seem to have been addressed. The framerates have contact and improved dunks are nerfed. Also, the Mamba Mentality badge is no working properly. It seems 2K is making its way through a list of ancient issues.
